A pre-summary of Noche Buena

We’ve done it! The last popup event of maynila went down well. Noche Buena was our way to bring Filipino Christmas flavours to London with festive favourites on the menu, including chicken relleno and queso de bola. We were even honoured to have two food celebrities, Great British Bake Off contestant, Alvin Magallanes, and Michelin-star chef, Jason Atherton, among the guests.

It was nothing short of theatre with creations by Chef Tim dela Cruz—this was evidenced by the nonstop taking of photos and videos by our guests, particularly when the buko pandan cheesecake. Each dish was not just a feast to the eyes but also to the palate.

We haven’t quite completed reviewing the photos and feedback yet (we’re taking our well-deserved break, too!) but we’ll definitely post them in the new year. In the meantime, we wish you all a very happy Christmas with your loved ones!
